Designing wayfinding for a local park.

The final project for my way finding class was to design way finding for a park that was lacking it. There is a park by my hometown that I spent my childhood going to, and they currently don’t have updated branding or way finding so it was a perfect choice. In their updated logo, I included the iconic swans that live in the park and some bright retro colors. I included similar stylized icons on all the signs and produced a mock-up of a kiosk that could be included in the park to give users a place to refill their water or use the restroom. This project was successful and opened my eyes to the world of way finding.
